Happy Belated Valentines & Martin Luther King
Wazzup guys....been awhile huh?.....I know....You can say I been busy of sorts.
Been designing and working mostly....I think I mentioned that on my last post huh? idk, I don't
really remember. lol. Valentines day was yesterday.......
Yet.....I didn't really do anything. I washed my clothes, checked on my vehicles, stay homed and chilled the rest of the day. No chocolate, no flowers, no candy, no card to buy. To be honest......I was a tad bit....just a tiny bit(lol) sad I had to spend valentines alone, but its whatever. Maybe next year will be different.
Oh and Martin Luther King, happy belated birthday to him as well. He was a god-fearing man of great brilliance and courage, someone who despite was demonized and punished because of his skin color, proved to everyone that strong unity and ambition towards a positive goal can overcome the hardest of obstacles. We love and miss you Dr. King.
Its black history month....had to through that in there...lol...
On the sports side of things, I been hearing alot about Jeremy Lin of the knicks. Dude can ball, I admit. But
it remains to be seen if he can sustain it at this level, because teams will start studying film of you heavy once
you start getting noticed. We'll see. In NFL news, Randy Moss wants to un-retire so to speak. I know it seems like a gamble because he takes some plays off, but for my Texans, since we desperately need a #2 receiver, I'd take a shot with him. Granted he's older at 35, but he can still show up at tip-top shape and run a 4.3, yeah, I down with it. But thats my opinion anyways.
Before I jet, go one last thing......R.I.P. to one of the most incredible singers of our generation, not to mention a beautiful soul and human being.....Whitney Houston. You will be greatly missed...
Alright all...it has been lovely...I'll catch up with ya'll later....1

Happy Belated New Years
Whats up guys?
Happy belated Christmas and new years. Here's to a new year of new experiences, new beginnings, a clean slate you could say.
Haven't really thought about my new years resolutions that much, don't know why. lol. I'll try to think of some new ones along the line, but for now its; improve my social experience, get into better shape, and work on my craft & passion, which is my artistic ambitions in graphic design & art.
On the another note, my Texans defeated the Bengals in a wildcard game this past Saturday. Now thats wazzup. They just gotta stay focused and not get to relaxed & non-chalant about it. Remember, these are the NFL playoffs, which is another level of intensity.
See ya when I see ya folks, just wanted to give ya'll an update. Later.

Sports: Houston Texans Win 2011 AFC South Division
10-3. Can you believe it? I mean, like, the Texans are 10-3. Alright, now, not only do they have their best record in its franchise history, but we're finally in the playoffs after 9 years in the NFL. Took awhile, but we got there. lol. Finally. I know alot of dedicated Texan fans are now grinning a big smile on their face right about now, huh?....as they should. I mean, lets face it, fans went through alot of hard times with this team over the years. Late game debacles. Disappointing seasons. Boneheaded mistakes on & off the field. I mean that goes without saying....every NFL team has their issues and whatnot, but its frustrating for us because we know in our hearts, we're better than that.
And I think that's what your seeing this season, us cutting back on our huge mental mistakes that have plagued us over the years and playing with an reinvigorated attitude & energy we've yet to see (at least on a consistent basis). Not to mention having two of the best runningbacks in the NFl in Ben Tate & Arian Foster and the number 1 rated defense in the NFL helps. Whats even more amazing is that we've done it with significant injuries this season; QB Matt Schaub, WR Andre Johnson, DE/LB Mario Williams. Normally, these injuries would have effected any other team, but in turn, I think they've made the Texans a more strong-minded & determined team.
Now going forward, I'd like for the Texans to of course go all the way. That's right. I'm talking about the Superbowl. I know, I know....wishful thinking on my part right?. Your probably thinkin'....."Hey dude, chill. lol I know they won the division and everything & that's cool and whatnot. But Superbowl? really bro? "....lol.
Look, can you blame me? I mean, I'm a hometown guy, so, naturally I'd want them to go all the way. Plus, it'd make my dream sports fantasy become halfway true(I'll tell your guys about that later, lol). Yo, but all jokes aside, I think we got a decent shot at it. Granted its our 1st time in the playoffs, but they keep playing defense they way the been playing, running the ball effective, and keep a balanced attack with Yates throwing the football , you never know.
Until then, my proud Texan fans, keep up the support & spirit and to the NFL Houston Texans, congratulations again on winning the AFC South.
